Sexual Health Parent Information Nights
Sexual Health Parent Information Nights - Spring 2023
The Tahoma School District provides curriculum and instruction designed to help students make healthy choices and practice safe behaviors. We appreciate our partnership with parents and families in supporting students in this important learning. To help strengthen this partnership, Tahoma’s Teaching and Learning Department annually hosts parent information Zoom webinars to discuss the sexual health curricula in our schools. This provides opportunity for families to get a full understanding of the sexual health curricula that students will learn at each level well before instruction happens with students. For the 2022-23 school year, we have three March evening meetings scheduled, one for elementary, middle and high school. Below, families will find all the details about each of the meetings with links to register, view the recorded meetings after they occur, and access all materials and resources used to support the student lessons. After families have viewed the lessons, if they would like to opt their child out of this instruction, the link to the opt-out form is provided below.
