Shadow Lake Families and Community,
I am very honored to continue to be part of the Shadow Lake community and look forward to our partnership with you, as your students’ first teachers, and all our Tigers, staff, and greater community. We have an amazing one!
I firmly believe that safety (both physical and social emotional), a love of learning, and having fun while learning are the cornerstones to a successful elementary school experience.
Our theme for this 2023-2024 school year is to ensure that All Are Welcome (based on the children’s book by Alexandra Penfold). My favorite page from the book says, “We’re part of a community. Our strength is our diversity. A shelter from adversity. All are welcome here.” I hope that everyone that comes into our community feels that they are welcome, feels safe, and grows at our school.
